Ignition Perspective Training
Designing mobile-responsive projects with Ignition Perspective
Course Description
Inductive Automation is conducting a 5-day training course covering mobile-responsive design practices using the Perspective Module. This course covers how to design and use the new layout options available in the Perspective Module. You will learn to work with the new container types, create a complex navigation strategy, and design a project that automatically adjusts between mobile and desktop environments. The course also covers some of the new functionality in Perspective like using the mobile app as a barcode scanner, uploading files, and adding dynamic maps to your project.
This course is not for beginners. You must have experience using Ignition or have taken the 5-day Ignition Core training course. We recommend that you go through the Perspective section of the Inductive University if you are unfamiliar with its basics.
The course is 5 days long, classes are held from 9 AM - 4 PM on Monday through Thursday and from 9 AM - 12 PM on Friday with time for Q&A from 1 - 4 PM. The course is taught in a computer-lab classroom where each attendee is assigned to a computer. We encourage you to bring a smartphone to use the mobile App and test your project in class. The curriculum includes lecture, demonstration, and the creation of a live project that gives each student hands-on experience. The format of the course encourages students to ask questions relevant to specific projects they have planned.
