2022 ICC Workshop - Perspective Navigation

Designing Navigation for Mobile-Responsive Applications Using Perspective

Course Description

Time: 1.5 hours of instruction with 30 minutes of Q&A at the end.

Level: Intermediate

Learn to make your project easy for users to explore. This workshop will teach you how to design navigation for an Ignition project that looks good and feels easy and intuitive to use on both large and small screens. This workshop starts with navigation basics like toggling navigation panels based on screen size, going through global settings, and sending data between views.

Inductive Automation’s global headquarters is located at 90 Blue Ravine, Folsom CA, 95630 which is about half hour east of Sacramento and more than an hour west of South Lake Tahoe.

Directions from eastbound Highway 50 (from Sacramento airport):

  1. Exit Folsom Boulevard
  2. Turn left onto Folsom Boulevard
  3. Turn left onto Blue Ravine Road
  4. Look for the Inductive Automation sign at 90 Blue Ravine Road

You may also explore other accommodations near the "Historic Folsom" area (near Sutter Street) with nice restaurants and views of Lake Natoma. Either of these areas are approximately within a 10 minute drive from the Inductive Automation office.

What is the dress attire for training?

Training class will take place within our corporate headquarters which is a business casual / casual environment. It is important to us that our employees, vendors and guests are considerate of one another and dress appropriately for the nature of our business.

We do not recommend the following attire:

  • Pants with rips, tears, or holes
  • Cutoffs
  • Offensive attire (i.e. gender, ethnicity, age discrimination, etc.)
  • Beach wear / Gym attire
  • Pajamas / Slippers
  • Open-toed footwear
  • Clothing that could create a safety hazard
