It's Your Exchange
The Ignition Exchange was built to empower you: the Ignition community. Explore our constantly growing library of valuable resources and useful templates built by engaged contributors that will accelerate your development pipeline.
Share Your Way
Create a storage of private resources or share them with the entire Ignition community. You can even collaborate with your organization exclusively, contributing alongside members of your team to build an extensive, rich toolbox of elements, components, projects and gateways unique to your business.
Cloud-Managed Single Source
Since the Ignition Exchange gives you access to resources in the cloud, you can access them anywhere there is an internet connection. Refer to this single source of truth when working or collaborating with others, knowing the file is always up-to-date, and the same from project to project.
Download What You Need
Great resources evolve and mature. The Ignition Exchange gives you the ability to keep a detailed version history of your resource so that contributors have the option to download any package that is relevant to their Ignition Platform and workflow.
Ignition Exchange Style Guide
A great and innovative resource deserves to be seen and used by the whole community. To help make sure resources stay easy to access, understand, implement, and upgrade, check out the Ignition Exchange Best Practices and Style Guide for general guidance and detailed standards for uploading a resource.

FAQ
What’s a resource?
A resource is anything uploaded to the Exchange made for use in Ignition. Resources can be as small in scope as a single script, Perspective style, or UDT, or as large as a detailed Ignition project or gateway. Resources can be made public for sharing and downloading for use within an Ignition project or stored privately in the cloud.
When will my resource appear on the Exchange?
Inductive Automation approves public resources appearing in the Ignition Exchange to ensure that information is complete and appropriate. Public resources will appear on the Exchange once they are approved. Resources marked as Private or Organization are not approved by Inductive Automation; they are automatically available to the specified audience.
Are resources on the Ignition Exchange reviewed and tested before being published?
Inductive Automation reviews and verifies the functionality of Exchange resources in an air-gapped environment before they are approved. We can't guarantee any code posted in this space and all resources are provided "as is". Users should verify resources before adding to an existing project based on each individual's risk tolerance. Contributors can report public resources for questionable content. If you find dangerous or malicious code or offensive information, please contact us so we can act immediately.
Is there support for Exchange resources?
Inductive Automation's Support Team does not support Ignition Exchange resources. Resources are provided on an "as is" basis. Many developers choose to enable a function called “Contact the Developer” where users can contact the resource developer regarding found bugs or feature requests. Developers are not obligated to respond, provide updates, or bug fixes. Any decision to do so is on a voluntary basis by the developer.
What is my organization?
Within the Exchange, an organization is a group of users that can work together and collaborate on resources that are not available to the public Exchange audience. To add a member to your organization, please contact your account representative.
How can I add members to my organization?
To add members to an organization, please contact your account representative.
I'm building a resource that is based on or uses another resource on the Exchange. Are there steps I need to take?
Yes, if your resource is based on or uses an existing resource on the Exchange, please give credit to the original resource author in your resource “Description” and include a link to the original resource.
