Course Description

ATS Applied Tech Systems is conducting a 5-day training course covering the core features of Ignition by Inductive Automation. Whether you are a new user to Ignition or an existing user looking to discover the full breadth of Ignition's capabilities, this is the course for you! You will get an in-depth look at the architecture of Ignition, involving the interactions between PLCs and SQL databases. You will learn how successful projects are planned and executed from start to finish. Both Vision and Perspective will be used in class for HMI design.

The Ignition Core training is a five-day-long course with classes held on Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Instruction hours are 9:00 AM - 4:00PM with time for Q&A before and after class each day. On Friday class ends early at 3:00 PM.

The curriculum includes lecture, demonstration, and the creation of a live project that gives each student hands-on experience with all major features of Ignition. The format of the course encourages students to ask questions relevant to specific projects they have planned. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I earn my certification through an Authorized Training Provider?

No. Most Authorized Training Provider courses will follow the standard training material, but some may choose to modify some of the material depending on their customers’ needs. As such, ATP classes do not grant certification for either Core or Gold levels. Contact the ATP for more details about individual classes.

This Course is led by an Authorized Training Provider

ATPs are led by Ignition experts who have been certified in Ignition and authorized to use official training materials developed by Inductive Automation. Inductive Automation will only endorse courses from centers that meet our standards for quality. Most Authorized Training Provider courses will stick to the standard material, but some may choose to modify some of the material depending on their customers’ needs.
