Get up and running with Ignition’s core features
Course Description
This is the official Inductive Automation Level 1 Core course, delivered and taught by Flexware Innovation’s certified instructors.
Learn the basics of developing in Ignition. The Core course will help students become familiar with the Ignition platform and its core modules by building a project throughout the week. Leverage the Tag system by creating UDTs and Alarms, as well as many features of Perspective to build real time and historical user interfaces. Best practices and common pitfalls are addressed throughout the class. By the end of this class, students will have a basic understanding of the core functionality of Ignition.
Length: 5 days
Location: Flexware Innovation Headquarters, Fishers, Indiana
Topics covered: Perspective components and bindings, navigation, Tags/UDTs, Historical data storage, security, Alarming, Alarm notification, scripting, and Transaction Groups. This is a level 1 class, prior experience with Ignition is recommended but not required.
Certification: Completing this course includes one free attempt at the Ignition Core Certification Test.
