Online Ignition Core Training
Get up and running with Ignition’s core features
Course Description
This class is delivered online using cloud hosted Virtual Machines. These computers have everything we will need pre-installed, but we need additional information from you to create the VM approximately 1 week before class starts.
Recommended home equipment: A strong internet connection and a computer with 2 monitors - You will be working in Ignition and viewing the instructor's screen.
Automation Solutions Ecuador is conducting a 5-day training course covering the core features of Ignition by Inductive Automation. Whether you are a new user to Ignition or an existing user looking to discover the full breadth of Ignition's capabilities, this is the course for you! You will get an in-depth look at the architecture of Ignition, involving the interactions between PLCs and SQL databases. You will learn how successful projects are planned and executed from start to finish. Both Vision and Perspective will be used in class for HMI design.
The course is 5 days long with class from 9 AM - 4 PM (GMT-5) on Monday through Friday with time for Q&A. The curriculum includes lecture, demonstration, and the creation of a live project that gives each student hands-on experience with all major features of Ignition. The format of the course encourages students to ask questions relevant to specific projects they have planned.

Architecture, Installation, Connect to PLCs and SQL Databases, Ignition Tags (OPC, Memory, Expression, Complex UDT), Tag Historian, Transaction Groups, Vision Clients, Windows & Navigation, Components Properties and Bindings, Visualization Templates and Indirection, Alerting and Notification, Security & Authentication, Scripting, Perspective Pages, Views & Components, Reporting, And more..
Courses hosted by Authorized Training Providers do not grant Core or Gold CertificationFrequently Asked Questions
Can I earn my certification through an Authorized Training Provider?No. Most Authorized Training Provider courses will follow the standard training material, but some may choose to modify some of the material depending on their customers’ needs. As such, ATP classes do not grant certification for either Core or Gold levels. Contact the ATP for more details about individual classes.
This Course is led by an Authorized Training ProviderATPs are led by Ignition experts who have been certified in Ignition and authorized to use official training materials developed by Inductive Automation. Inductive Automation will only endorse courses from centers that meet our standards for quality. Most Authorized Training Provider courses will stick to the standard material, but some may choose to modify some of the material depending on their customers’ needs.
