Job Description

The Technical Recruiter is responsible for managing the recruitment lifecycle at Inductive Automation including sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates that have applied for open technical positions. They collaborate with HR team members and Hiring Managers to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to ensure a positive and inclusive recruiting experience is delivered and hiring goals are met. This is a full-time position with hybrid and on-site opportunities available.

The Technical Recruiter's job skills, qualifications, and responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Screening technical resumes and application forms based on essential criteria
  • Interviewing candidates via phone, video and in-person
  • Overseeing the preparation of interview questions
  • Tracking and reporting on pipelines in Applicant Tracking System
  • Collaborating with division managers to review and define technical requirements and guiding strategy discussions to ensure recruiting objectives are met
  • Conducting talent mapping and market research to anticipate and forecast technical hiring needs, ensuring a proactive approach to recruiting
  • Working with HR team members to identify and implement effective recruiting strategies and methods based on the role, industry standards and needs of the organization
  • Review, track, and analyze individual recruiting metrics to ensure alignment with established KPIs and hiring goals
  • Contributing to recruiting projects, including creating and implementing processes, procedures and best practices, and supporting the maintenance of training materials and documentation
  • Upholding fair, equitable, inclusive and unbiased hiring practices in compliance with EEO guidelines, employment laws, and company policies
  • Providing a professional and positive recruiting experience to both candidates and hiring managers
  • Establishing and maintaining trusted working relationships with hiring managers and leadership
  • Participating in the sourcing of candidates, both online and in person as needed
  • Participating in career events, online and in-person as needed
  • Assisting with promoting positions on various platforms (job boards, professional social networks, and the Inductive Automation website)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, communication, or related technical field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in evaluating resumes, interviewing candidates for a variety of positions, and participating in hiring decisions
  • Familiar with software engineering terminology and roles is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted advisor, confidently guiding stakeholders through hiring decisions
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers to refine hiring plans and interview processes
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining candidate relationships
  • Ability to take initiative in leading meetings, guide discussions, and driving recruiting outcomes
  • Experience with sourcing candidates through online platforms, career fairs and events, etc.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience with recruitment technology tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc.)
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Understand and interpret data, analyze trends, and identify actionable insights

Pay

Based on the Sacramento region, the new hires minimum and maximum target salary for this role is $75k - $90k. This role will be paid hourly.

Inductive Automation’s ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Although it is not typical for an individual to start at the top end of the range for the position, compensation decisions are dependent on: the facts and circumstances of each case, work location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs.
