The ICC website has been updated with more information about ICC 2025, set for September 16-18 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, California. There’s a lot of cool stuff this year, so in this blog, I want to highlight some of the exciting things we're planning for the conference. Mark your calendar, grab your ticket, and start planning your trip to ICC 2025 — the ultimate destination for learning, networking, and innovation in the industrial space.

Level Up: More Than A Theme

This year, we've moved to a brand-new venue; the Convention Center is in the heart of Sacramento, within walking distance of great dining, hotels, and entertainment. It's a state-of-the-art venue with plenty of room and amenities to facilitate the growth of the Ignition community for years to come. But this year's theme, "Level Up," is about more than the new, larger venue; it's about how Ignition, its user community, and its ecosystem of technology providers are taking industrial automation to the next level.

The Exciting New ProveIt! Showcases

This year, we decided to partner with ProveIt! to present the most compelling showcase of tech provider solutions we’ve ever shown at the conference.

There will be a full track of 17 ProveIt! showcases throughout the course of the conference. These live, exhibitor-led demonstrations will show real Industry 4.0 solutions to real problems, powered by live data from the ProveIt! Virtual Factory. You will see firsthand how different hardware and software tools work with Ignition to enable IIoT, cloud architectures, machine learning, edge computing, and more.

Expect to see inspiring demonstrations and solutions that spark ideas you’ll want to bring back to your team. If you are interested in being an exhibitor in these showcases, contact the IA exhibitor team at exhibitorsupport@inductiveautomation.com to learn more.

The Co-Lab Room: Community Huddles & Hands-On Challenges

Another new feature is the Co-Lab Room, where two of our newest activities will be taking place: Community Huddles and the Community Design Challenge. These two activities are all about connecting with people, sharing knowledge, and learning in a collaborative, fun, low-pressure way.

Community Huddles

Community Huddles are informal meetups where speakers, exhibitors, and attendees show off their most interesting projects, answer questions, and connect one-on-one. Think of it as an open-floor mini-expo where the ideas are fresh and the conversations are unfiltered. The hosts will be able to demonstrate their ideas or projects on a variety of topics.

The Community Design Challenge

If you’ve ever wished for your own mini Build-a-Thon, this is it. In this event, attendees will be grouped into teams and take on real Ignition challenges provided by our instructors. The more your team solves, the more points it will earn. The winning team will be announced during the Build-a-Thon at the end of the conference.

The IA Hub is a new, dedicated space where you can connect directly with the people who build, support, and innovate the Ignition platform. Located in Meeting Rooms 1 and 2, this interactive zone is designed to help you get answers, explore solutions, and have technical conversations with Inductive Automation experts.

Whether you’re looking to dive into platform architecture, explore customization options, learn about new training resources, or ask questions about your current deployment, this is the place to do it. You’ll find team members from Sales Engineering, Software Engineering, Training, Support, and more, all ready to share insights and help you succeed with Ignition. Be sure to stop by during the conference to get the answers you need.
