Travis Cox: Hello, everybody, and welcome to our webinar, "Level Up Your Knowledge At The 2025 Ignition Community Conference." We're so glad you joined us here today. I'm Travis Cox. I'm the Chief Technology Evangelist here at Inductive Automation, and my role at ICC is being a speaker and a technical expert for Ignition, and I love supporting and connecting with the entire Ignition community, with all of you, as much as I possibly can. I'm also joined here today with four other speakers on this webinar, and so I'm going to have each of these speakers introduce themselves, starting with Doug.
00:34
Doug Dudley: Yeah, hi. I'm Doug Dudley. I'm the Vice President of Marketing here at Inductive. I oversee the Marketing and PR divisions, who work on the conference all year round, and I personally have worked on the conference ever since it began 13 years ago. So, super excited to be here and share a little bit more about what we got cooking this year.
00:53
Travis Cox: Thanks, Doug. Paul?
00:57
Paul Scott: Thanks, Travis. Hey, everyone. I'm Paul Scott. My title is Documentation Manager at Inductive, and my role for ICC is planning and managing the session content as well as a bunch of the networking activities. So, excited to be here today to share some of the details of what's coming out this year.
01:14
Travis Cox: Yeah, thanks, Paul. And then Mariah?
01:18
Mariah Taloa: Hi, everyone. My name is Mariah Taloa. I am the Conference Specialist for Logistics and Operations at Inductive. So, at ICC, I'm working on the many logistical and operational aspects and just helping everything run as smoothly as possible.
01:33
Travis Cox: Thank you, Mariah. And then we have a guest speaker. Walker, introduce yourself.
01:38
Walker Reynolds: I'm Walker Reynolds. I'm the President and Solutions Architect at 4.0 Solutions. I'm the Lead Educator at IIOT University and the founder of the ProveIt Conference. And for ICC, I'm the architect of the ICC ProveIt Virtual Factory, which is the ProveIt Showcase that's going to be happening in the exhibit hall.
01:57
Travis Cox: And we'll be learning a lot more about those today. So, I'm really excited for the webinar today. We have a great agenda. We're going to start by introducing Ignition and Inductive Automation for those of you who are new. Then I'm going to give you ICC 101, which is all the basics you need to know about the conference. Then we're going to explain how ICC will level up your understanding of what's possible with the Discover Gallery and the awards, the infamous Build-a-Thon, the new ProveIt Showcases that Walker just talked about, and much more. We'll explore how the sessions and other content at ICC help you level up your knowledge. We'll talk about how to level up your network at ICC and how to make the most of your trip. Then we're going to go over the countdown to important dates, and then we'll wrap up with the FAQ and Q&A section. If any questions come up during the presentation, please type into the questions area of the GoToWebinar control panel. We'll leave some time to answer questions at the end of the webinar, but if we're not able to get to all of your questions here today, please reach out to us afterwards.
02:59
Travis Cox: Of course, a recording of today's presentation, along with all the slides, will be made available in a couple of days on our website in the resources section. In case you're not familiar with Inductive Automation, here are a few facts about us. Our software, Ignition, is used by 65% of Fortune 100, which means that it's being used every single day inside some of the world's biggest companies. We have over 4,000 integrators in our program with a highly diversified customer base across many industries with thousands of Ignition installations in over 140 countries. We've been in the industry for over 22 years, and we have over 350 employees in the U.S. and in Australia. Our software, Ignition, is a universal industrial application platform for HMI, SCADA, MES, IIOT, and much more. It acts as a central hub for everything on the plant floor and beyond. You can use it to create any kind of industrial application. It's web-based, it's web-managed, and it's web-deployed. It has an unlimited licensing model, it's cross-platform, and of course it offers security-grade stability and the latest and greatest security standards. In case you're not aware, we just released Ignition 8.3 this last Monday.
04:14
Travis Cox: We released the beta, and we're so excited about that. Ignition 8.3 isn't just a step forward; it's the new starting point. With 8.3, we've completed our longstanding vision to create the world's most powerful, most open, and most flexible application development platform that's out there. Today's webinar is all about enriching yourself by attending the Ignition Community Conference, or ICC for short. To give you a quick review on what the conference is all about, I'm going to pass the presentation over to Doug.
04:45
Doug Dudley: All right, thanks, Travis. So this is all about ICC, and I wanted to start off by giving just a little bit of history around the conference itself. So Ignition is all about bringing technology, data, and people together. And when that cross-pollination happens, amazing things happen too. So as a company, some of our deepest insights have come from collaborating with our user community. It's a key part of our development process, and it's the reason we started the conference back in 2013. So back then, we had no idea if anyone would even show up, but we knew we had a lot of brilliant people using the software, and we wanted to see what happened if we got them all together. And what happened actually blew us away because we saw integrators, end users, and technology companies, many of whom were competing with one another, all coming together and sharing ideas, creating partnerships, and innovating new solutions. This community came together around our software platform, but it's grown through its own collaboration, and it's grown really fast. In fact, within a few years of starting the conference, we totally sold out the venue we were hosting then. So to make space, we started using the parking lot.
05:55
Doug Dudley: We put a huge tent up, and we had seats outside, just to find a little more space to get everyone in. After selling the conference out for seven years in a row, we had to move the conference to a newer, larger location, which we'll talk about here in a little bit, just to keep up with demand. And while the conference is a catalyst for the growth of the community, they didn't just let the walls of the venue box them in. They created online communities and professional groups and formed partnerships, all in the spirit of innovation and advancement in automation. Nowadays, the Ignition community has really become the premier community for innovation in the industrial space, and the conference has become the ultimate destination for learning, networking, and innovation. It's really the best place to see the cutting edge of what's possible in industrial automation today. But let me get a few more perspectives on this point here for a minute. So, Travis and Walker, if you could put it into just a couple words, like, what is unique about the Ignition community? What would you guys say?
06:57
Travis Cox: I think I'll start, and then I'll let Walker follow up here. The Ignition community is an incredible community. It is really about coming together and sharing ideas and really being the thought leaders, the innovators, and thinking about how to leverage cutting-edge technology and how to apply that in a practical setting for customers to get value out of it. So it's really cool to be able to come to an event where you get to talk with all these people in that way and really explore the art of the possible. And that's what I really love about this community and just the collaborative spirit that's out there, the willingness to come together and talk.
07:33
Walker Reynolds: Yeah, and I say this all the time: before Ignition was Ignition in 2008, I would always be like... I'd be working with another platform, and I would say, "Man, if only I could do X." And what I would say to people all the time is Ignition makes X possible. What makes the community so unique is that the community is made up of people who first started by asking themselves, "If only I could do X." I wish I could only do X. And so when you go to ICC, ICC is a bunch of people who are problem solvers. And what Doug talked about—these are competitors who are working together. Well, that's not by accident. Ignition was the lighthouse that brought the problem solvers together, and Inductive Automation is a lighthouse that brought the problem solvers together, not the people who focus on market segments and pipelines and building one project and selling it 100 times. It's all the people who want to work on the coolest stuff in the same room. That's what makes it unique. It's a personality thing. It's a values thing.
08:36
Doug Dudley: Yeah, I couldn't agree with you guys more. And it's really just a unique place and a unique group of people, and you just experience it when you're there. Okay, so let's talk a little bit about who those people and those companies that come to ICC are. So here are a few stats for you. So last year, we had over 1,000 attendees from 45 countries. And by the way, we've already got nearly 1,000 attendees registered for this year so far, and we're six and a half weeks after the conference. So we're going to far surpass that number. Speaking of attendees, many different types of professionals also come to the conference. So the mix is usually around 50% or so control systems engineers, and a significant portion of those are working for premier and gold members of our integrator program. These are the most engaged, top-selling Ignition integrators in the world, renowned for substantial volumes, integration services, and the Ignition software they deploy. Then we have about 35% of Ignition end users, and they're in various roles like IT, plant managers, CEOs, executives, and way more. These folks come from some of the biggest, most recognizable companies in the world: Cisco, ExxonMobil, United Airlines, Newell Brands, and many others.
09:53
Doug Dudley: So it's a strong mix of folks and really an amazing group of integration professionals there. There are lots more people there too. There are lots of us there. IA staff, a lot of us come out to the conference. And so if you have been working with us for a while and you got a sales rep or support tech that you've really been dying to meet, or you want to pick the brain of one of our developers or executive team members, this is your chance to do it. They're going to be right there with you. And it's a huge event for us to connect with the community. And it brings a ton of value to both our community members and ourselves for being there. So we also have a lot of tech providers that will be there. We had over 30 who were exhibitors in our conference last year. We have more than that this year. We'll talk a little bit more about what our exhibitors look like. Then we had 50 or so speakers last year. And these are Ignition experts, industry thought leaders, integration specialists, and way more. So that's an idea of who attends, but what's the experience of the conference like?
10:57
Doug Dudley: Well, that's what this webinar is all about today. And I think the theme of this year really captures the essence of what we're trying to do with the experience, which is level up. Now, ICC 2025 marks the largest leap forward in the attendee experience since we started ICC back in 2013, from a whole new venue.
11:17
Walker Reynolds: That's the understatement of the year, Doug. It's the understatement of the year.
11:22
Doug Dudley: All right. Well, I'd rather understate it and have people experience it, but it's going to be huge. It's going to be huge. And frankly, it's been something that community has been asking for for a long time. We were elbow to elbow in our old venue and really needed to grow. And this year we've grown. Leveling up is the theme, but it's more than just about the size of the venue we're in too. We're in the Sacramento Convention Center this year, but Level Up is also about leveling up your experience. We want everyone who comes to ICC to be able to level up their professional connections and their understanding of the industry and of Ignition, the technology ecosystem growing around the platform. And really what's possible when all of that comes together. So the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center is a fully remodeled, state-of-the-art venue. It's got 240,000 square feet of space to grow. And it's right in the heart of downtown Sacramento. It's close to the airport. It's within walking distance of great dining, hotels, and entertainment. So you can book your room and just walk over to the conference center and walk over to wherever you need to for the entertainment minutes away.
12:39
Doug Dudley: The convention center will give attendees plenty of elbow room, and there's going to be plenty of elbows to rub there, plus more room for sessions and networking. It's going to make it a really great home for ICC for years to come. But the biggest reason to come isn't the venue. It's what's happening at the conference. And really what's happening at this year's ICC is the future of industrial automation. And I'm not talking about a vision of the future, but actual Industry 4.0 Solutions running in real time. You're not going to hear us talk about what projects are possible in the future. You'll be able to see showcases of real projects that are being used right now, and you get to talk to the people who built them. You won't just see exhibitors showing off a sales demo. You'll actually see them using live data from a virtual factory. Our motto, Inductive Automation, is "Dream it, Do it." We believe in empowering ideas and making them happen. And at ICC, you get to see those ideas actually working and talk to the people who made them real. So if you want to come see the future of automation happening in real time, come to ICC. Okay, now I'm going to hand it over to Travis to talk more about some of the ways you'll be able to see that future happening at the conference. So over to you, Travis.
13:51
Travis Cox: Yeah, thank you, Doug. So one of the best ways to see the systems of the future being used today is in our very own Discover Gallery. This is a video exhibition of remarkable real-world Ignition applications that were developed and submitted by members of the global Ignition community. Each project is a comprehensive video case study that takes you deep inside the problem that they faced, the solution that they built, and the specific challenges and technical details along the way. We collected submissions earlier this year, and we went through a rigorous selection process to choose the 18 exceptional projects you're going to see in the gallery this year. For those who are selected in the Discover Gallery, it's an excellent opportunity to showcase their finest work and share their ideas with their peers.
14:37
Travis Cox: For those of you attending and seeing the Discover Gallery, it's a great way to get new inspiration for your own work and to see what professionals in other industries are doing with the Ignition platform. Out of the 18 projects, 12 will win Discover Gallery awards, and six projects will win the prestigious Ignition Firebrand Awards. These awards represent excellence in Ignition application design and implementation, as well as the collaborative spirit and commitment to outstanding customer service that sets the Ignition community apart.
15:08
Travis Cox: All of the Discover Gallery project videos will be made available to view on our conference website when the conference starts, so attendees will be able to get inspired by all of that work. Just to show you the variety of Discover Gallery, these are the industries that are featured this year. There's aerospace, agriculture, automotive, food and beverage, government, iron and steel, mining, aggregates, cement, oil and gas, packaging, paint, plastics, power, transportation, and water/wastewater. So it's a really big mix of great projects that we have.
16:36
Travis Cox: So you heard it here, folks. But to find out what award each company won, you have to come to ICC, and of course, to see all these amazing projects. So congratulations to all the Discover Gallery folks this year. Another way at the conference to see modern projects being built is a totally unique experience at ICC called the Build-a-Thon. So to give you a little bit of backstory here, back in 2018, we had an idea. Ignition lets you build great applications really quickly. So what if we built something live on stage? And that was something that Kevin and I had always done; in demos we would show people what Ignition can do, and we would just build something live. And literally, they say, "Hey, could I do that?" We'd do that. And we thought, well, that'd be fun to do it on stage. And to make it even more fun, what if it was a competition?
17:25
Travis Cox: So our first couple of Build-a-Thons were competitions between myself and Kevin with some sideshow commentary and entertainment from Kent Melville. Then starting in 2021, we turned it into a competition between small teams of integrators to get our integrator community involved and see what they can do to show off their chops in Ignition. And now the Build-a-Thon has become a very popular tradition at ICC, and we can't wait for this year's competition. So back in May, many of our premier integrators applied to participate in this year's Build-a-Thon. From them, a group of 27 integrators was chosen to participate. This group of 27 will compete in a Build-a-Thon Elimination Challenge that will be live streamed on August 7th. So that's next week, so don't miss that on our YouTube channel.
18:10
Travis Cox: The top two integrators that win that elimination challenge will face off in the final competition at ICC on September 18th. And then you, as the ICC audience, will be able to vote live to determine the winner. So Kevin, Kent, and I will be on stage to support the competitors and entertain the crowd. And then to make it even more fun, the Build-a-Thon this year has a fantasy-based theme called The Lands of Ignition. So expect to see some Ignition wizards, ancient monsters, and even some mischievous Ignition sprites. I hope you see it, and it's going to be so much fun. So stay tuned to come next week for the elimination challenge, and then come to ICC so you can see these teams build and show off their amazing projects that they do live.
18:56
Travis Cox: We've got one other competition that's happening at ICC as well, and this is open to the entire Ignition community. It's called the Ignition Exchange Challenge. If you don't know, the Ignition Exchange is a place to get free Ignition resources that are built by and for the Ignition community. So if you upload a resource to the exchange by August 31st, you will be automatically qualified for the exchange challenge. The winning resources will be announced on stage during the Build-a-Thon events and on the exchange website. You've got one month left to create and upload a resource, so hurry; don't wait for that, do it now. We are so eager to see all the amazing resources that you guys create. All right, one of the fastest-growing aspects of Ignition is its technology ecosystem, and with over 30 exhibitors and more signing up every day, there's no better place on the planet to explore it than ICC.
19:47
Travis Cox: The Ignition technology ecosystem is a growing network of innovative companies coming together to push industrial automation forward. At this year's Ignition Community Conference, you'll get an exclusive look at how the world's top technology providers are building powerful, flexible, and future-ready solutions that work with Ignition and, of course, with each other.
20:05
Travis Cox: From edge computing to cloud analytics, from smart sensors to enterprise-scale integrations, it's all here under one roof. Powered by open standards and designed for interoperability, the Ignition platform is the platform that brings it all together. And when you combine the power with the creativity and expertise of the broader ecosystem, the possibilities are endless, and it all starts here. And if you're interested in exhibiting, there is still time, but you've got to jump in soon because the spots are filling up. But this year, we're very excited that the exhibit hall isn't the only way to see the ecosystem in action. We're doing something brand new this time, and I'm personally excited about it.
20:46
Travis Cox: We're partnering with ProveIt to bring a new level of energy, insight, and ingenuity to these exhibitor showcases. So here's the backstory. We participated in the ProveIt conference in Dallas back in February. It turned out to be a great showcase for Ignition, and it was one of the best and most unique events that I'd ever been to. And it got us thinking about whether we can bring that to the exhibitor showcases that we have at ICC. And the great news is we were able to make this collaboration happen, and we're bringing it this year. So Walker is here from ProveIt to tell us more about this. So Walker, first, let's give some background on ProveIt. How'd you come up with it, and can you explain what it is?
21:25
Walker Reynolds: So ProveIt is a conference. You guys can go to ProveItConference.com to see what ProveIt is. But where did the idea come from? The idea really came from the questions that end users always ask when they are trying to decide how to solve their problems. And oftentimes what they would ask is, how do I compare solution A with solution B? How do I decide whether to go with this solution versus this solution? Or number two, they would say, "Can I see an example in real life?" Can I see a real example of this solution? And obviously that's pretty problematic because most of the time, if you're digitally transforming some large manufacturer, they are not going to be very open to you sharing their solution with people outside their organization, nondisclosure agreements and all that kind of stuff.
22:14
Walker Reynolds: So starting in 2018, when my former integrator at Telik Integration was doing a digital transformation initiative with a flexible packager, we struck a deal with that flexible packager to be able to use their data infrastructure in future demonstrations. And without that ability, without the ability to be able to record that manufacturing facility, ProveIt would not be possible. So I want to say thank you to that manufacturer for being willing to do this.
22:40
Walker Reynolds: Number two, the idea was to take Unified Namespace, which has blown up all over the world. Let's bring in as many vendors as humanly possible on one common digital infrastructure, the virtual factory. It's a flexible packager that's recorded for one hour, 414 sequences, MQTT, OPC UA, and SQL backend. You can access the work orders. You can access the master data model. The integrators come in. They look at the infrastructure. They have access to it. And they go, "This is a problem I would solve." Here's the problem I would solve for this manufacturer. And then they solve it. And then they go on stage, and they present, and they go, "This was the problem we wanted to solve." This is how we solved it. They demo it. They say, "This is how long it took, and this is how much it cost." And, we had an opportunity to show end users digital transformation in practice in a real virtual factory. Every vendor was working with the exact same infrastructure. So Colby reaches out and says, "Hey, Walker, we'd really like to have you guys do ProveIt at ICC, but let's shake it up a little bit."
23:43
Walker Reynolds: So what we did is, there are 15 vendors who are participating. We put together a plan using our existing virtual factory from ProveIt 2025. There'll be different virtual factories for next year's show, but we're using the same virtual factory as we did in February 2025. But here are the rules. The integrators are the integrators and the vendors. They have six weeks to build their solution instead of 16 weeks. What people had to ProveIt. Okay. They have six weeks. They must use Ignition. So they've got to use their product, and they have to use ignition. So the unique opportunity here, the difference between ProveIt in February and ProveIt here, is every solution will have Ignition as a part of it. So if you're working with Ignition and you want to see flow software with Ignition, or you want to see Itanta Analytics with Ignition, this is the place to come see it.
24:34
Walker Reynolds: Okay. So the vendors are all working on their solutions right now. They're using our virtual factory. They're using the HiveMQ MQTT broker. They're using our OPC server and the database to build their solutions.
24:46
Walker Reynolds: Okay. And then they're going to present in the exhibit hall in the ProveIt area of the exhibit hall on stage at ICC in September. What is our virtual factory? Our virtual factory is a flexible packager that prints. They do flexible printing. They do lamination. They do slitting, and they make bags. Okay. There's one common unified namespace. Some examples of the existing dashboards that are already at this customer are on the right-hand side; you've got the operator overview on the top, and you've got the executive summary and the production dashboard at the bottom. Our virtual factory is based on this facility. What we have is this is the virtual factory infrastructure. HiveMQ in a clustered environment.
25:27
Walker Reynolds: We're using Portainer to manage all of our containers, and we're using Ignition to actually do all the data operations. So Ignition is hitting the backend every 10 seconds, grabbing the recording of the virtual factory and publishing it into the MQTT broker, which then publishes into our OPC server, which then publishes into the unified namespace as Spark Plug B. We have three possible UNS access points. They're all exactly identical. And there's an SQL backend.
25:56
Walker Reynolds: And on the right-hand side here is the unified namespace from the virtual factory. And you'll notice you've got flow software there, Consnow; that's Snowflake and Concept Reply. Snowflake is one of the folks that'll be there this year. Flow will also be there. MaintainX, you got Inductive Automation. IACL is Inductive Automation and Cirrus Link. And then you have the actual factory. Press 103, the laminators, the bags, the slitters, et cetera. That's what they're all working with. And so what's going to happen is they're all working on their solutions right now. Another difference is we're going to have the ProveIt booth where you're going to be able to interact with the unified namespace of the virtual factory and see other solutions that we will be providing as the conference chairs.
26:41
Travis Cox: This is all really exciting. Let's take a moment to talk about, like, if I'm a customer or an end-user integrator that's coming to ICC, and you talked about there being 15 vendors, I think we're going to have a couple more that'll be coming on. I get to go into this room; what am I going to see? I'm going to be able to, like, look at all these solutions and get what?
27:01
Walker Reynolds: What I'm going to get to see is I'm going to see, I know the plant that they're working with. I know the data that they're working with; I'm going to get to see that. I'm going to see how it's structured, and then I'm going to see their thought process and how they use their solutions to solve problems digitally. Okay, so like, for example, Inductive Automation and Cirrus Link worked together last year, and Opto22 did a presentation all on their own. The solutions that they built were completely different, but both of them were solutions that the actual manufacturer wanted when they watched the recordings. They were like, "Hey, this is a solution I actually want." What an end user gets is they get the point of reference, they get the understanding of how solutions are built, how long they take, and how much they cost.
27:52
Walker Reynolds: And by the way, those are the things they care about. They care about how I can trust you to solve my problems. ProveIt is the vendor coming and proving their bona fides. The advantage here, though, is that every one of these vendors—HighByte, HiveMQ, Itanta, Kanoa, MaintainX, Opto22, SafetyChain, Sepasoft, SiteSync, Snowflake, SORBA.ai, Thred, and Axilon—all of them are going to be showing off their solutions in our virtual factory but also in conjunction with Ignition. They must use Ignition. And newsflash, digital transformation is a strategy about making data the primary commodity in your business, and you don't make the data your primary commodity in your business with one solution. Where else can you go to see Ignition and Flow working together to solve a factory's problems? That's what ProveIt is all about.
28:46
Travis Cox: It's so exciting. I mean, we're going to see actual demonstrations of all these solutions working together with a common infrastructure and a common data model that sees UNS in action. And people get to interact and play with it and see it. And if you're trying to make decisions about where you want to go with your digital transformation journey, this is the place to go and see what's out there, what's possible.
29:06
Walker Reynolds: I'll say this, Travis. Last year at ProveIt in February, the number of manufacturers who told us that they came to ProveIt to pick their vendors for 2025 blew our mind. It never even occurred to me they would do that. And the same thing is going to happen here. It's why people go to ICC. People go to ICC not for September. They go for ICC from September to September. They want to know what I am doing from September to September of next year strategically, business development-wise, and solutions-wise. And that's what ProveIt is all about. It's a marriage made in heaven, ProveIt at ICC.
29:43
Travis Cox: It's all about showing what's really possible in this ecosystem. As you can see on the screen here, we have an amazing lineup of companies—15 so far. We have a couple more slots that will be filled up here. We are really excited about this collaboration. Thanks so much, Walker, for helping to make this happen, to really shine a light on digital infrastructure and what this ecosystem can do. And I can't wait to see everything happen this year.
30:07
Walker Reynolds: It's going to be amazing. Some of these solutions are... From February to now, obviously, model context protocol has become a big deal. And some of the solutions—I've seen the functional specifications—there's a lot of agentic AI in there. There's a lot of agentic AI, which is going to build on what we did in February.
30:27
Travis Cox: All right, that's awesome. So this is not a big reason to come to ICC. There's so much that we can do here. So thanks, Walker. All right, so another big reason to attend ICC is that you'll level up your knowledge about Ignition and, of course, other leading technologies. So let's learn about the educational sessions that you're going to find here as well. So we have two keynotes at ICC this year. And the first is the main keynotes. Our CEO, Colby Clegg, is going to be speaking this year, along with myself and other leaders from our company, to talk about the state of the industry, our place and role in it, and the impact that it has on you. For years, the whole industry has kind of thought of things in a certain way about how to get data, how to share it, and what role software, devices, systems, and people all play in that. It's a way of thinking that frankly doesn't really work anymore. Today's business and technology move too fast for the old way of doing things to keep up, especially for large companies. So industrial automation has changed forever. A new paradigm has taken hold.
31:34
Travis Cox: These old categories are collapsing. Legacy architectures are fading. A new standard has emerged. In this keynote, we're going to unveil what this shift means and how it's already transforming operations across the globe for those who've made Ignition the cornerstone of their digital strategy for the future. That's just a little teaser, but I've got to tell you, this is going to be a presentation you do not want to miss. I think it's going to be an historic moment in time where we are right now with all the technologies that are converging, especially with where Ignition is going. I'm super excited about the message this year, so please come and join us to learn about this new paradigm. We also have, of course, a technical keynote, and I'm going to turn it over to Paul to discuss more about that.
32:22
Paul Scott: Yeah, thanks, Travis. So speaking of sessions you don't want to miss, the Tech Keynote is always one of the highlights at the conference because it's sort of the main spot where we take a look at Ignition and other adjacent technologies and sort of try to figure out what the future could look like. We're doing that again this year. The industrial technology landscape really demands a kind of constant devolution. Architectural complexity grows, AI rapidly advances, and enterprise management becomes more challenging. Companies just kind of need more software tools that really help them keep pace.
32:55
Paul Scott: So in this keynote, our CTO, Carl Gould, and CEO, Colby Clegg, are going to explore those challenges. We'll get to look at how new tools of Ignition 8.3 can be used to build distributed architectures, the possibilities of AI and automation, what's ahead for Ignition, and a couple other things too, which I'm really excited for everyone to see. We plan to have a panel of Ignition experts kind of be there to help answer audience questions. So it's your chance to really ask those burning questions you have about Ignition and get some responses from it. Moving on, we're also going to be bringing back the industry panel. This is another session at the conference that's had a longstanding tradition of being present there.
33:33
Paul Scott: We always invite leading end users from various industries to share their thoughts and insights on the industry. The last few years, we've had professionals from all different types of industries: software, cloud computing, oil and gas, major retail, consulting, laboratories, chemical manufacturing, and food and beverage, and that's just scratching the surface there. The panelists, they come from various levels of the organization too, so you get a really good cross-section of professionals. And the questions for these sessions are mostly from the audience members. There are a couple that we do provide ourselves to get the ball rolling, but because of the nature of these questions coming in from the audience, there's always a level of, like, improv and surprise that keeps things interesting.
34:18
Paul Scott: This year's industry panel is called "Leveling Up Insights Across the Enterprise," and we'll be covering topics such as integration at various levels of enterprise, fostering innovation, unlocking critical insights, and boosting productivity gains across the entire organization. The panels have not yet been announced, but stay tuned, and we'll really reveal those shortly. Yeah, so we're at this new venue, and there's a lot more space, and because there's a lot more space, we have a lot more sessions.
34:42
Paul Scott: So I'm excited to announce that this is really the largest session lineup we've ever had. And of course, it's going to be including a full slate of sessions for both IA speakers and Ignition community speakers. So on the IA side of things, our support, training, and engineering teams will be present. They'll be sharing deep dive sessions on a slew of different topics. We'll be covering things like AI and Ignition, Helm charts, our journey towards ISO 9001 certification, modern Ignition deployment methods, Perspective containers, API integrations, our documentation library, and the history of the industry.
35:17
Paul Scott: I'm particularly excited to check out the Modern Ignition Deployments. That actually is coming from our sales engineering team, and they're going to be sharing some insights from what they do in regard to deploying our demo projects we have. So there's a lot of, like, kind of real-world sort of stuff that they're mixing in with sort of their lessons learned. So it'll be a lot of fun. So yeah, there's going to be a good mix of technical and professional sessions for everyone. And then, of course, on the community side of things, I'm really excited. I've been speaking with all these or meeting with all these speakers and sort of planning out the content schedule, and we got a really good mix of folks.
35:51
Paul Scott: I'm excited for everyone to see what we have in store. So we have a bunch of different topics from things like tag naming and data modeling, 21 CFR compliance, machine monitoring, and 3D printing prosthetics. That's just to name a few. There are about 22 planned in total. So in the interest of time and running out of space on a slide, I won't list them all. But yeah, there's going to be a ton of stuff to check out. There's actually a lot on our website right now. We're still filling in, sort of backfilling the last couple sessions as we get additional details from our speakers, but I'm excited for everyone to see them. As for who's speaking, we do have end users like Toyota, Tetra Pak, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, and a couple others there. We also have folks representing our top Ignition integrators. So we have automation professionals, Vertech, Edge Controls, and Sandalwood Engineering as well. We're also going to have our ecosystem tech providers. So Sepasoft, Opto22, and 4IR will be making returns. And of course, our strategic partner, Cirrus Link—you know we love them. They'll be returning to the stage this year as well.
36:52
Walker Reynolds: I just want to say something real quick. If you're an end user, there's the Toyota Factory of the Future and Regeneron, so I've had an opportunity; I've worked with both of them. If you're in life sciences, or you're in automotive, or you're in discrete manufacturing, you are going to want to hear those presentations. I promise you, especially if you're in life sciences, Regeneron won a major award in Boston last year for their architecture. Their journey is nothing short of profound, nothing short of profound. And what Toyota did in Georgetown at their Factory of the Future is absolutely next level. So those are two presentations that, as an architect, I would want to see. I just happen to know what those presentations are all about. And one other thing I just want to say, because the audience here is for people who haven't been to ICC before, right?
37:40
Walker Reynolds: There are going to be a lot of people who have never come to ICC before and don't know what to expect. Other than community, you mentioned Cirrus Link; one of the most groundbreaking presentations that has ever happened in our industry happened at ICC. And it was when Arlen Nipper went up on stage, and he introduced MQTT to the world, and he brought 500 PLCs online in 10 seconds and populated Ignition tags with 500 PLCs using MQTT, something we take for granted today. That happened at ICC in a packed house, standing room only, and everybody's minds were blown. That's the type of stuff you see in these presentations. So if you haven't been before, that's the kind of stuff to expect.
38:21
Paul Scott: No, for sure. It's really exciting. And, Walker, I think you and I share the privilege of kind of having a little bit of an idea of what it's like; you're talking about Toyota and Regeneron. And yeah, no, I've been kind of working with them to get an idea of what they're talking about too. And yeah, it's cool, but I wish I could tell you more right now, but no, you definitely have to go check it out. It's going to be a great time. So that's kind of like our session content that we have planned, right? Aside from sessions, we have a bunch of other activities and opportunities to sort of network with folks, exchange ideas, and educate yourself a little bit too. So these networking and interactive events are sort of a crucial component to expanding your knowledge. And they're really one of the other larger reasons to go to the conference too. So I want to kind of share a few details on some of these activities. First up, we have this new room that we're calling the Co-Lab.
39:08
Paul Scott: This is sort of something new that we're doing this year at the conference, and it's going to be sort of a room that's focused a bit more on interacting with sort of thought leaders, presenters, exhibitors, stuff like that. We're going to have two activities in the Co-Lab. So the first would be community huddles, and then the second would be the community design challenge. So the community huddles are sort of like an informal meetup with the speakers and attendees, exhibitors, and people who have done cool stuff with Ignition and want to show it off with folks. You can almost think of it as like a mini open floor or an open floor mini expo science fair almost, where people are kind of presenting ideas and stuff that they have there. So it's not like the scripted thing or anything like that. It's kind of a spot for unfiltered conversations and fresh ideas; you just kind of meet with folks who presented ideas and are able to chat with them. It's also kind of like an extended Q&A.
39:58
Paul Scott: So that's what the community huddles are. The community design challenge is kind of like a community Build-a-Thon. Travis was talking about the Build-a-Thon a little bit earlier. So this is kind of us sort of rolling out this opportunity for attendees to kind of participate in something in a similar spirit. So the way this is going to work is we're going to create three teams. And as people come to participate in the community design challenge, we'll just assign you to one of the teams. And each day of the conference, we'll have different challenges. And so you can work on a challenge. They should be short. The idea is to finish them in about 30 minutes or so, something you can do in between the sessions. And the challenge itself is going to be kind of like a very small specification sheet. And the idea is, hey, we want you to build something at Ignition that solves this problem. And so you'll have to go try to figure out how to do it. If you complete it successfully, we'll go ahead and add a point to your team. And at the end of the conference during the Build-a-Thon, we'll announce which team won.
40:50
Paul Scott: So there'll be a little bit of bragging rights. You can go ahead and kind of compete with your colleagues and all that. I'm really excited. This is the first time we've tried this sort of activity. It's a little ambitious trying to put it together, but I think it's going to be a lot of fun. And it kind of gives you attendees a chance to sort of test your own knowledge and maybe learn a little bit too and get some hands-on time with the software. It's going to be a lot of fun. And of course, we'll share the final scores and all that stuff. So it'll be great. So yeah, both of these activities, they're going to be in the Co-Lab room. Hopefully everyone enjoys it. Hopefully everyone comes and checks it out. It's something we're putting together for the first time this year. So I'm super excited about that. Now, another room we have. We already talked about how Co-Lab is the IA Hub. So this is where you can connect directly with people who build, support, and innovate Ignition. So the idea is that it's a room where we'll have members of our technical support teams, our product managers, and other parts of the organization.
41:44
Paul Scott: If you wanted to come ask questions about software, about the company, or whatever... That's a great spot to go ahead and just connect with us and ask your questions, share your thoughts about the direction of the software, things like that. So come say hi. We're hoping to come connect with you there. All right, aside from those, we also have TableTalks. These are making a return back to the conference. If you've never been to the conference before, which, again, that's part of the goal of this, it's kind of introducing folks to the conference. They're sort of our implementation of an on-conference. If you don't know what an on-conference is, it's basically like an informal kind of round table group discussion that organizers sort of set up for the attendees. The idea is that we're sort of providing the space for the TableTalk to happen, but as far as, like, the content, the topic, stuff like that, it's more community-driven. There'll be sort of a submission form, which you can see there's a link on the screen right there, that links to inductiveautomation.com/icc-talks. So that's a place where you can submit ideas.
42:42
Paul Scott: We'll end up picking the topics, and we'll put them on a schedule. So when you come to the conference, you can go ahead and just join in on those. They're not limited by signups or anything like that. It's just a basic group discussion that just happens to have sort of like a starting line, if you will, like a starting topic to kick things off.
43:00
Walker Reynolds: I told our students about this yesterday, and I said, "This is like the community forum live." And we talked about this yesterday in the dry run. And actually someone said, "No, what it is, it's like joining a thread live." It's like joining a community forum thread, being in the thread, but in person.
43:20
Walker Reynolds: It's brilliant.
43:22
Paul Scott: No, it's great. That is a perfect way to think about it. It really is. So yeah, you'll definitely want to come check it out. There are no main speakers, and there are no slides. No one owns the presentation. It's just someone starting off with a question, just like Walker suggests there. And then the conversation kind of happens naturally. It's honestly probably my favorite event at the conference, as well as other conferences I've been to. It's just a good way to connect with other attendees in a very informal way. It's fantastic.
43:46
Paul Scott: We are hosting Table Talks on all three days of the conference. In the past, we've generally only kind of leaned to a few days or one day. So there are more slots than ever before. We will be posting the Table Talks schedule soon. So check back to the website. And again, if you're planning on attending and you want to submit an idea, again, check out that link on the slide there. And then of course we have the SCADA Arcade. So what this is is basically a room filled with games that you can play. And sort of the main driver behind this is that we have a bunch of video games that were created by members of Inductive Automation that were made in Ignition itself. The idea is that our technical support group has this sort of program, which they call SCADA Arcade, where to develop their product knowledge of Ignition, they just try to build a game using it. We're not the first group of people to do this. Plenty of people have made video games and different pieces of software that weren't intended for that.
44:45
Paul Scott: People out there are making games and spreadsheets and stuff like that, similar idea. But it's something that really kind of took off internally, and we thought, "Hey, why don't we just polish these up just a little bit more, and then we'll just bring them to the conference," and that's exactly what we did. You'll get to come check out and play some video games that our team members have made. There's a leaderboard, too, so if you want to brag to your colleagues about how well you did in some of them, you can. And of course, the leaderboard is powered by Ignition. This year, though, we're going to have a full dedicated room for just the SCADA Arcade, and we're also bringing some physical games, too, just to kind of give you a little bit of a variety and some other stuff you can do in the room, too. So if you're at the conference and you're tired of all the professionalism and all the learning, and you just need a little bit of a break and want to unwind a little bit, come check out the SCADA Arcade. You might be able to blow off some steam a little bit and have a good time there. Yeah, that was quite a bit.
45:30
Paul Scott: There are a ton of activities we're playing this year. We're really excited just with the new venue, but there's even more we have to cover. So there are even more ways to kind of connect and sort of recharge at ICC. I'm going to go ahead and hand it over to Mariah, though. Mariah, would you mind kind of taking over the next part here?
45:45
Mariah Taloa: Yeah, thanks, Paul. And just giving you more reasons to attend ICC is food. Yeah, so we're striving to add interaction and fun into every moment of ICC. We're thrilled to partner with Sodexo, the exclusive food and beverage provider for the Safe Credit Union Convention Center. They are true professionals, ready to cater to every need with innovative Californian cuisine, featuring fresh, locally grown ingredients from America's farm-to-fork capital. So after you've checked in at registration, as you enter the second floor, you can start your day right by enjoying a complimentary breakfast bite and a custom latte from our IA Cafe. And you can also find your favorite brew at the convention center Starbucks as well on the first floor. During the conference, we've scheduled a dedicated lunch time for meet and greets with our sales team and international distributors, offering face-to-face conversations similar to last year. And catered buffet lunches will be provided with a boxed lunch on the final day. So prepare for two distinct dinner experiences. Day one, Tuesday, kicks off with our exhibitor networking reception and a Discover Gallery networking event for the first hour, followed by exploring the various theme stations featuring diverse foods designed for connection and collaboration.
47:06
Mariah Taloa: And then get ready for an exciting ICC dinner on Wednesday, day two. This year, we're taking our traditional dinner, previously held at HQ, to a new level. So join us for a night filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and unparalleled networking opportunities. We'll also have a special guest appearance to make the evening even more memorable. We're also excited to introduce a brand new networking event this year, our Women in Automation Breakfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone, including women, identifying individuals, and allies, to connect with inspiring leaders and professionals in the automation industry. Here's a fun idea. Why not start ICC with a day of sunshine, a friendly competition, and great conversation? We're inviting ICC attendees to arrive early for our second annual ICC Golf Scramble. It's on Monday, September 15th, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start at the Bing Maloney Golf Course in Sacramento. We'll play an 18-hole game with several exciting contests and prizes. It's a great chance to connect with other ICC attendees in a relaxed setting and enjoy the outdoors and a jumpstart to your conference week. Golf tickets are sold separately from the ICC registration, so get your tickets today because they're limited and they're selling out really fast.
48:31
Mariah Taloa: So the last day to register is Friday, August 15th. And on that note, there's a lot to see, and when you travel out to Sacramento, we've got a whole page on our ICC website to help you with that. We've secured a special discounted room block at three fantastic hotels, with the best one being right across the street from the venue. The Hyatt Regency, Sheraton Grand, and the Hyatt Centric. To secure your exclusive discounted rate, you must book your hotel by Monday, August 25th. And I'm going to repeat that. Book your hotel room by Monday, August 25th, because they are selling out fast. So run and book your lodging right now. On the Plan Your Trip page, we also have links and information about the Sacramento International Airport and the local rental car, shuttle, and taxi services. Also, as we mentioned, there are a lot of fun things to explore in downtown Sacramento. There are many attractions within walking distance from the convention center, like the California State Capitol, museums and parks, theaters, jazz and comedy clubs, and dozens of fine restaurants, pubs, and bars. At our new location, there's always something cool to do and great people to do it with.
49:44
Mariah Taloa: So explore Sacramento like a local. Check out our badge pass, which will have a QR code for you to scan. And this will be located in our field guides to access a collection of curated attractions, retailers, and restaurants, which offer deals and discounts while you visit Sacramento. So I can't wait to see y'all there. I'm going to pass it back to Doug.
50:03
Walker Reynolds: Travis, Fat Rabbit? What's replacing the Fat Rabbit, man? We've got all these great bars. What's the Fat Rabbit?
50:14
Travis Cox: Really great contenders for replacement of Fat Rabbit. I know it's like the number one thing everybody asks, to come to ICC before. We have to go to a new place. There's Tom's Watch Bar, and then there's Dive Bar. Honestly, I think Dive Bar might be a place a lot of people want to go and check out. So we've got a place within walking distance. We're going to take everybody there, just like Fat Rabbit.
50:36
Walker Reynolds: Awesome, awesome.
50:38
Doug Dudley: Glad you're out of that, Walker, in there, Walker, because a lot of features of ICC are returning. That is one of those ones that we have to find a new Fat Rabbit for; that's a bar out in the Folsom area where we used to do it. I'm sure we'll find a great alternative there. And there's awesome stuff to do all around in the conference, around the conference. Attendees are going to have a great time. So speaking of time, ICC is getting really close. As we said, it's happening on September 16th through 18th, which is only six and a half weeks away. So now is the time to buy your ticket, book your room, and plan your trip. It's also a perfect time to buy because you can save $300 by purchasing now before the prices go up. August 17th is the last day for the regular ticket price. After that, late registration begins, and that runs through September 12th, but it does go up after that. So get your ticket; don't wait. Buy by August 17th to get the most affordable rate. So to purchase your tickets, ensure your attendance at the conference this year. You can visit the conference website at the link below to register today.
51:46
Doug Dudley: All right, so as you can see, there's so much to do and a lot of people to meet, and the best way to experience a conference is in person. But if you can't make it to Sacramento, California, you can still watch much of the content of ICC at home, in the office, or on your mobile device with the live stream pass. So the ICC live stream pass gives you instant access to all the live keynotes and breakout sessions from day one, day two, and day three of the conference. You'll be able to watch recordings on demand as soon as they're uploaded after the session. You can get your live stream pass at the same place you can buy your in-person ticket, which is the register page of our conference website. Also as a bonus, just to let you know, if you do buy an in-person ticket, you get a live stream pass for free. This comes in really handy if you miss a session and you want to watch it on demand later, so there's great value there. Okay, so we're running low on time on the webinar today, and we've talked about a lot. I hope we've given everyone who's had a chance to attend a lot of reasons why ICC is such a special and valuable event to come to.
52:50
Doug Dudley: There really is no other community in industrial automation like the Ignition community, and we want you to be a part of it. To sum it all up, ICC is your chance to see the future of automation and take your knowledge, your networks, your networking, and your ideas higher than they've ever been before. So we invite you to level up with us at ICC 2025 in September. Okay, over to you, Travis.
53:15
Travis Cox: Thank you, Doug, and thanks everybody for showing all the amazing things that we're doing at ICC this year. It is going to be... It's a new start, right? New venue, new everything. There are new experiences, everything's leveling up, and I can't wait for it. But of course, we also invite you to download Ignition and try it out today. It only takes a few minutes, so you can install it and run it in a free trial mode for as long as you want, trying out every feature. And by the way, Ignition 8.3 beta is out. Go check it out and be a part of the history of seeing all the amazing features that are in that release. Along with that, you can check out the Inductive University, which is our training website that's free with hundreds of educational videos. You can learn Ignition step-by-step at your own pace. And there's also a comprehensive online user manual you can refer to at any time. No matter what your experience level is, you can always learn more at no cost whatsoever. For those of you outside of North America who have questions, we have a network of international Ignition distributors to provide business development opportunities, sales, technical support, and your language and time zone.
54:14
Travis Cox: If you want to learn more, please visit their website, as you can see here, or contact us, our international distribution manager, Igor. But of course, all the distributors can answer questions about ICC for you. We hope to see... Hope they'll all be there as well so you can meet with them there. And so now it's time to cover a couple of quick, frequently asked questions that we know are pretty common. First and foremost, I have a question for Walker. They actually came in with some of the questions that were there, and that is because we have the live stream pass. Are the ProveIt showcases going to be on the live stream live? Yes or no there?
54:58
Walker Reynolds: They will not be streamed live. However, they will be recorded, and they will be part of the live stream pass post facto. So the presentations will be in their entirety along with a 90-minute summary from each vendor on the live stream pass that Doug pointed out yesterday. We have to edit the videos. We'll have a media team there filming everything, and then we have to edit those videos so that they can be put up on the live stream pass. They will also be posted to our social media accounts. So you will get a chance to see the presentations through the 4.0 Solutions YouTube channel as well as part of the live pass.
55:40
Travis Cox: Okay, perfect. And then Doug, can you just reiterate a couple of those important links for people that want to register for exhibits or if they just have questions and want to contact us?
55:51
Doug Dudley: Yeah, so there's the conference website, which is linked there. Obviously, we've mentioned that several times. If you are an exhibitor and are curious about being an exhibitor, we have the exhibitor link there. There are a few spots left, but as mentioned before, they're going fast. So definitely check those out. And if you just have more of a general question about ICC, if you go to the conference website, there's a contact form there. You can just ask your question there, and someone from our team will follow back up with you and get your question answered. So those are some of the links to keep in mind. And the date to keep in mind, as we said, is August 17th. That's when the prices go up. So definitely get your tickets before then.
56:29
Travis Cox: Yeah, we can't say that enough, right? Now we've got our time for Q&A. So if you have a question, put it into the GoToWebinar area. I've got a few questions that have come in already, but we'll save a few minutes here to go over those. And of course, if we can't get to all of them, just contact us afterwards. Go to that link that Doug showed, and we'll definitely make sure to answer your questions there. First question, Paul: this is going to be a question for you. Will the table talks that you talked about be recorded or streamed?
56:58
Paul Scott: Unfortunately, no. It's one of those things you've got to kind of just be there for. Although you do bring up an interesting point that maybe in future years for the virtual pass, maybe we could do like a virtual table talk kind of thing between sessions. But yeah, this year, no, they will not be.
57:12
Travis Cox: Definitely a good reason to come to the conference and experience that live and personally, because there are some great conversations. I loved walking around last year for sure. I think I actually have a question, another one for you, Walker. There's a lot of interest around the ProveIt showcases, which is pretty cool. It says, Are there any plans for maybe future conferences to use other industries besides manufacturing for the virtual factory, like oil and gas or other verticals?
57:39
Walker Reynolds: Yeah, so next year in February, February 2026, the week of February 16th, we're actually doing a much larger show. I just want to point something out for those of you who have never put on a show. Mariah and I were talking about this yesterday. You know, 50% of the cost of putting on a show is food. But believe it or not, it is incredibly expensive. It costs us $1.2 million to do ProveIt. It's costing us $2.2 million to do it next year. Everybody wants to know why tickets are so expensive. The food is the reason. Literally half the budget goes to food. It's crazy, because that's how the venues get paid. So very, very important for people to understand that. What are we doing next year? Next year, we are doing multiple virtual factories. So the virtual factories will stay in place in perpetuity. So the flexible packager will be there. The vendors are still working with that flexible packager, doing demos. Next year, we're going to have life sciences. We're going to have a single site discreet and a multi-site discreet. And it looks like we're going to be doing batch processing next year.
58:38
Walker Reynolds: We're going to have a life sciences virtual factory and then a single-site and a multi-site enterprise virtual factory. Three virtual factories, all in different verticals. And it looks like one is going to be a batch process, and one is absolutely going to be life sciences. And then the plan for the following year is we're going to do oil and gas. We know oil and gas will be part of the 2027 show.
59:02
Travis Cox: Awesome. Perfect. I know we've got quite a few questions around the recording of the session. We'll definitely make this available afterwards on our resources section of the website, along with the slides, which will be available there. So don't worry if you had to step away; it'll be there. And you can share it with any other people in your company there. I have another question...
59:24
Walker Reynolds: Travis, I have a question that I know everyone has, right? I've gone to ICC since... I didn't go to the first one. I went every year after that until two years ago, three years ago. You guys have done the... ICC was at the Harris Center every single year until this year. It's literally the same venue until this year. And you're a technical guy, and this is obviously a huge step up. You guys are literally doubling the size of the show, and the venue is massive compared to where you guys were originally. What are you, as a technical guy, a guy who builds solutions, most excited about? Because this obviously opens up a whole new set of doors. There are a lot of decisions you guys had to make in the past because you had limited space, and now space is not an issue. So what is it you're most excited about? What is it a technical person should be excited about from Travis's perspective?
1:00:20
Travis Cox: That's a great question. And honestly, we get a lot of people asking questions about, like, what kind of content it is. Is it all just basic, or is there advanced content? All that kind of thing. We've got content at different levels. But like for me personally, I feel like we're in a really interesting time where a lot of technologies and things are converging. Especially around digital transformation concepts and what's happening. And AI—AI is blowing up, and there's some exciting stuff that we're going to be able to kind of showcase and talk about ourselves along with the ecosystem that's out there. Honestly, it's being able to go there and to see what use cases people are doing with these and to kind of collaborate on those, to see these demos that the ecosystem is providing, and just to kind of nerd out with this stuff. Because we are all pushing the industry forward, and we're doing new innovative things, but we're thinking about how to do it in a practical way and how to get value out of it. And I love seeing all of those pieces of the conference.

Walker Reynolds: Paul, what about you? I don't mean to hijack. It's just that I'm really curious. I'm really curious, and I know the community is curious too.
1:01:33
Paul Scott: I hate to plug something I already kind of spoke about, but part of the community huddles activity we're doing is like we're also asking people who have done really cool projects that aren't presenting something. Hey, can you come just demo that so that people can come get some hands-on? That, I think, is kind of my key thing because I love the conference. I've attended almost all of them. I missed the first one, but just having some hands-on time to really kind of nerd out, as you said a little bit, with some of the stuff and kind of see what people are doing. I think for me, that's kind of the biggest... That's the thing I'm most looking forward to. So I'll probably be hanging around that room for most of the conference.
1:02:07
Travis Cox: And I will say, Walker, there will be some surprises, and the keynotes are especially good this year. So you don't want to miss it. 8.3 is not the surprise anymore. That's out. It's a beta that is there. So what else are we going to be doing and talking about?
1:02:19
Walker Reynolds: I will say this. Someone asked me about ICC. Walker, why should I go to ICC? And I say, listen, I went to ICC every year. I and so many of my friends who owned integrators, we all went to ICC for the same reason, the same three reasons. We would go to watch the keynote because the keynote is something you must see. There were times when I flew to Sacramento, drove to Folsom, watched the keynote address, had one conversation, and left. That's how important the keynote address is. For planning your strategy for the next year. And the fact that there are two keynotes this year makes it doubly important.
1:02:58
Walker Reynolds: The second thing is I'm trying to gauge where my business was and where I was relative to everyone else who's working with Ignition. Am I doing the same kind of things? Do I have gaps? Am I ahead? Am I behind? Am I right on the mark? And then number three, absolutely, probably the biggest impact. You know, Telik Integration did $31 million. When we did due diligence, and I sold the company last year, we traced $31 million of business directly to ICC. Literally, ICC was the starting point for $31 million of business. And the company was started in 2015. And I sold it last year in 2024. So $31 million in nine years. That was never the intent. But going and being with like-minded people who want to solve problems—that's all sales is, is finding a problem and solving it.
1:03:48
Walker Reynolds: And then somebody says, "I want that." That's what ICC is. And so when you see, you guys said the "nerd out" thing a couple of times; that's exactly how we think about it. You go to ICC to nerd out. You don't go to ICC to talk to business development people. It's pretty awesome.
1:04:04
Paul Scott: No, it is. Honestly, ICC always kind of felt like a little bit of a party we threw on, to be honest. I know it's technically a conference, but it's kind of a chance for us to unwind and just kind of hang out with people that use software in the shared space. It's always a good time. It's funny to hear about all the kinds of side benefits. That's pretty huge. That's a massive amount of money coming in from just tying it back to the conference. But for us, on the IA side, we get all kinds of ideas for the future features, not even just for the software, but maybe things that the company should be doing differently. It's just a great chance for us to really kind of do a temperature check with people using the software and kind of...
1:04:41
Walker Reynolds: It's crazy the number of, later on the next year, the number of release notes that you can tie directly back to ICC the year before. So as you guys are releasing minor releases, you can literally go, " Oh, that release note comes from that conversation at ICC. "I've always said if you're going to go to one show in a year, ICC is the show you go to this year. And we put on the ProveIt conference. And I'm still saying that.
1:05:06
Travis Cox: You heard it here, folks. The ICC is the event.
1:05:10
Doug Dudley: When you get all these people together, this is the kind of stuff that happens. And as a company, it was a big move for us to go from the old venue to this new one. And I mean, the biggest reason why is we can get more people there, more ideas, more collaboration, and more energy, and then what can happen to all of those folks when they go back to companies and the industry at large along with our company? But that's what I'm so excited about:seeing just so much of that come together in one single spot bigger than ever before. This is going to be the biggest collection of Ignition knowledge in a single place ever. You have to be there to experience it. So, that's what I'm excited about.
