Job Description
We’re currently searching for a Front Office Assistant! The Front Office Assistant is part of a two-person team that is responsible for providing administrative support to the entire company. They are the face of Inductive Automation, ensuring customers and employees are greeted both in-person and on the phone in a friendly and professional manner. They handle a variety of administrative and facility duties that contribute to the smooth and effective running of the entire organization, such as scheduling conference rooms, maintaining the common areas and distributing mail and packages.

About the Role
The Front Office Assistant's skills, qualifications, and responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities

Culture:
- Assisting with employee events and activities
- Handling Cake Day, employee anniversaries, Snack Days, coordinating with our on-site massage therapist, and ordering fresh fruit
- Scheduling food trucks Facilities:
- Keeping office and copy room clean and organized
- Assisting with vendors and providing support to the Facility and Safety Manager as needed
- Stocking the café and upstairs coffee bar in the morning and afternoon
- Preparing conference rooms for meetings and interviews
- Assisting with on boarding new hires Customer Trainings:
- Assisting with certifications, catering, set up of room and check-in of trainees Administrative:
- Answering and transferring calls to the appropriate people
- Reviewing, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Greeting customers and vendors when they arrive at the building
- Maintaining inventory of office supplies
- Scanning and filing documents
- Coordinating with administrative staff throughout the company to maintain smooth operations
Requirements
- Able to work in-office Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
- Associate degree or degree in progress is preferred
- Must have some customer service experience; administrative support experience would be very helpful
- Professional communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Strong collaborative mindset
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Comfortable with creating written documents, building signage, spreadsheets, and accessing databases
- Proven ability to do reliable and accurate Internet research
- Highly organized with very strong attention to detail
- Able to lift and carry heavy objects

Published rates are based on Sacramento area; pay for remote positions is reviewed & established based on specific location.
