The Sales Representative supports the Sales Team in reaching monthly goals and overall growth company wide. The primary responsibility of the Sales Rep is account management and growth. The Sales Rep will work with Account Executives and Technical Sales Representatives on lead outreach, account management and administrative tasks with the end goal of spreading the use of Ignition within the organizations. The Sales Rep will be responsible for daily customer outreach to cold and existing leads while maintaining data integrity on contacts, locations, and communication in CRM. The Sales Rep will utilize LinkedIn and other sales tools to procure new leads and introduce them to Ignition. The Sales Rep will be capable of discussing the various Ignition and Strategic Partner modules with customers to assist them on building custom software packages.

The Sales Representatives duties, responsibilities and functions may change frequently or as needed by the Sales team and the company. The Sales Rep will be excited and knowledgeable about Ignition, work well with other staff on the Sales team, and have a willingness to take on a variety of administrative and outreach tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Outreach to new and existing leads and scheduling demos of the software
  • Daily cold calls, follow up calls, new lead calls, demo request calls
  • Provides customer service on licensing, support plan maintenance, module consultation
  • Promptly responds to customer emails, voicemails, and all other inquiries
  • Capable of working well with coworkers and coming to peaceful resolutions on account issues
  • Maintains a high customer satisfaction level that meets company standards
  • Proactively manages customers satisfaction by anticipating potential problems
  • Keeps account data in CRM up to date and accurate
  • Keeps accurate records of all interactions with customers
  • Constructs quotes and generates invoices
  • Follows up on both expected and expired quotes, keeps pipelines up to date
  • Maintains spreadsheets for support plans and documents all notes or discrepancies
  • Gathers references for customers and information on licenses and use of Ignition

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • Experience with a sales CRM software i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot, Freshsales, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills via the phone, email and face to face
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word/Excel and email platforms i.e. Gmail
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Ability to self-start, motivate others to keep a positive focus on goals and deadlines
  • Highly organized with variety of accounts, files and reports
  • Able to multi-task and juggle projects for multiple team members, while staying focused and completing goals by their deadlines
  • Positive outlook and professional etiquette
