As you know, Ignition Edge is a line of lightweight, limited, low-cost Ignition software solutions designed specifically for embedding into field and OEM devices at the edge of the network. Ignition Edge has been extremely popular, however, some of the limitations, such as no Gateway scripting or 3rd party OPC-UA access, have been too restrictive at the edge.
