At Inductive Automation, we’re always looking for new ways to connect and share ideas with the Ignition community. Between our webinar series, blog, social media, and the Ignition Community Conference (ICC), we have a lot of outlets for uniting our users, but that doesn’t stop us from exploring other forms of media. For the past year or so, we’ve been building our newest media channel: Inductive Conversations, a podcast for the Ignition community. We’re finally ready to share more about the podcast and what you can expect from this new channel from Inductive Automation.

Beach Balls, Badminton, and BBQ: Highlights from IA’s Annual Company Picnic Lauren Walters Thu, 06/21/2018 - 08:20
Promontory Park in Folsom, California, is well-known locally for its enormous playground and kid-friendly activities, but on Saturday, June 9th, the park was filled with a slightly older crowd of fun-seekers: the staff of Inductive Automation and their families. It’s the _sixth_ annual picnic for IA, and every year there are new fun surprises. HR staffers Kristi and Madeline were responsible for the event’s rousing success, planning everything from delicious treats to engaging games, and even raffling off fun summer necessities like beach towels, pool floats, and sunscreen.
Bringing the Heat at IA's Annual Salsa Competition Lauren Walters Thu, 05/10/2018 - 12:25
There was a lot to “taco ‘bout” at Inductive Automation last Friday. We held our annual salsa competition in the new Cafe at 90 Blue Ravine, and it’s fair to say things got heated. From a reigning champion relinquishing his crown, to a second-place curse, this competition spiced up the day for IA’s dip-loving team. Eight amateur cooks competed with their homemade toppings for the ultimate prize: The Golden Sombrero. Heralded around the office as the ultimate desk accessory, this trophy signifies true salsa mastery, and a commitment to excellence in sauce creation. Many had a guess about who would win, but all were surprised when an underdog came out victorious and was named the new salsa master.

The year is coming to a close and we’ve just made our big leap to the new Inductive Automation corporate headquarters. Building Update: IA’s New Home is Really Taking Shape Arnell Ignacio Mon, 10/16/2017 - 14:07
As I look out of one of the windows of our office, I can’t help but admire the beautiful rolling hills of Folsom, California. The Palladio has been our home for the last five years and while working in a mixed office/retail environment has its quirks, the space has served us well. We’ll miss our office at the Palladio, but we’re also incredibly excited to move into our new home next to Lake Natoma in Folsom. Construction is moving at an expeditious pace, bringing us closer to a new chapter for Inductive Automation.
