Deep Dive on MQTT Sparkplug B
In this session, we will take a deep dive into the MQTT Sparkplug B specification. We will look at what Sparkplug B is, how Ignition leverages Sparkplug, and the state of the Eclipse Sparkplug project and working group. 8.1.17 Security Updates, Mapping - Layers, Icons, GeoJSON, Tile Sets
We'll discuss the recent 8.1.17 security updates, as well as do a medium depth dive into mapping. We'll cover the main features, show how to use views for pin popups, and demonstrate bindings to move elements on a map in real time.
In this session, we will discuss the new features and updates in Ignition 8.1.15 and 8.1.16. We will also discuss approaching offline forms in Ignition. Web Services REST Communication: WebDev and more
Explore the WebDev module, Web Services module, and REST communication options from within Ignition. We'll create a web services endpoint (API), explore the options, and connect to it using Ignition, both with Vision and Perspective. We'll also talk about communications with external APIs. We will be taking a deeper dive into 2 of Ignition's modules: Tag Historian and WebDev. We will discover how the Tag Historian works, how to optimize it, and how to use TimeScale. We will also discover how WebDev works and to build custom REST APIs. As always, we will leave time for open Q&A.
Network & Internet Security & Enterprise Architectures
We'll be digging into modern Security technologies, Ignition's support, running on the Internet v.s. a local network, and the architectures and features that make it possible to run Ignition in an Internet-accessible manner. We'll also talk about how this works in a larger Enterprise view.
