ICC 2021 Recap: Next-Gen Applications & Global Collaboration at Our Second Virtual Conference Doug Dudley Wed, 09/29/2021 - 13:26
The 2021 Ignition Community Conference marked Inductive Automation’s second foray into the world of virtual conferencing and once again proved that no matter the physical distance between us, ICC will always bring the global Ignition community together. This year’s conference, held on September 21st and 22nd, was our ninth ICC and largest ever by far. Building on last year's success, we evolved ICC by incorporating two online platforms and offering new twists on a few fan-favorite sessions.

Inductive University Expands With New Elective Studies Paul Scott Tue, 08/17/2021 - 08:07
We’re always keeping busy here at Inductive Automation. Sometimes we like to make a big production out of it — just look at our ICC announcement this year — and other times we keep things a little more behind-the-scenes. No matter what, the goal for every one of our projects is to assist integrators and end users in any way we can. That’s why we’re constantly developing so many valuable resources like our Integrator Program, our webinar and Ignition Community Live series, and our podcast. But without a doubt, our most widely used resource is Inductive University.
Ignition 8.1.8: Visualization Updates, Expression Language, OPC UA, Docker and Much More Arnell Ignacio Wed, 08/04/2021 - 13:03
Moving at a steady pace, the release train has been on the go since Ignition 8.0 was introduced to the world. With all the far reaches the train has traveled, occasionally it needs to come in for maintenance and get a tune-up. Ignition 8.1.8 brings some maintenance updates and "fit and polish" to Ignition, helping to improve stability, quality-of-life, and workflow. Many of the updates in 8.1.8 range widely, touching upon visualization, expressions, and OPC UA, just to name a few.

This release train delivers a lot of exciting changes, but I only have time to call out a handful. Those changes include an easier way to set parameters when embedding views, an enhanced Send Project task, as well as new features for Perspective Workstation’s on-screen keyboard and Perspective’s Alarm Status Table. Let’s get started!
ICC 2021: Evolving the Virtual Experience Doug Dudley Thu, 04/01/2021 - 09:30
For everyone, 2020 was a year of firsts. At Inductive Automation, it was the first time we hosted our Ignition Community Conference virtually. One of the benefits of this format change was that ICC 2020 was by far the highest-attended conference in Inductive Automation’s history, so we’re coming into 2021 wiser, more experienced, and excited to build on last year’s success.
Ignition 8.1.3: Audit Profile Pruning, Barcode Scanning Color, and Perspective, Web Dev, and Logix Driver Updates Paul Scott Wed, 03/03/2021 - 13:33

As a result, this train is packing numerous fixes and changes, as well as some really useful new features. Climb aboard as we take a closer look.
Celebrating the Top Integrators of 2020 Melanie Hottman Wed, 02/10/2021 - 10:02
After the wild ride of 2020, it’s great to have an opportunity to look back and reflect on the accomplishments of last year. In particular, our integrators celebrated huge victories in their sales in spite of huge obstacles. Throughout the year, we got the opportunity to celebrate their successes with our Top-Selling Integrators page, which was updated every month to reflect the companies’ sales, and sent out in our News Feed. Not only were we inspired by our integrators’ performance, but we were delighted to see the friendly competition that formed between some of our top integrators.
