For the eleventh time, automation professionals and enthusiasts the world over convened in Folsom, California, for Inductive Automation’s Ignition Community Conference (ICC). The theme this year was “Elevate,” and with the conference’s expansive schedule and industrial-strength lineup, ICC 2023 brought the entire experience to new heights.

Every year, the Ignition Community Conference gets bigger. That means more attendees, more sessions, and more insights. But ICC X — our tenth annual gathering of the worldwide Ignition community — was the first that we’ve delivered both in-person and virtually, giving it a wider reach than any of our previous conferences.

To best explain how beneficial live Perspective training can be, we decided to get the viewpoints of attendees who’ve taken the course themselves. We interviewed Jason and Nicole Coope of Kanoa Consulting to find out what prompted them to take the Perspective course and to get their thoughts about the course.

Is it really possible that another Ignition Community Conference has come and gone? After months of increasing excitement and preparation, we held our 2019 conference last week at the Harris Center for the Arts in Folsom, California (near Sacramento). Once again, ICC was a sold-out event attended by more than 650 industrial professionals who represent many different job roles, industries, and countries.

As summer is coming to an end, school is in session, and fall is right around the corner, Inductive Automation is in full Ignition Community Conference mode. At this annual conference, attendees from all industry backgrounds gather for three days full of learning, networking, collaborating, and establishing connections over one common interest: Ignition.

At Inductive Automation, we’re always excited when we get to work with innovative thinkers. It was a thrill to host one such figure, Andy Stanford-Clark of IBM, for a talk called “Andy Explains the Internet of Things — and Mousetraps.” The talk was sponsored by Inductive Automation and presented on September 20th at the Harris Center in Folsom, California, where ICC 2018 had concluded the previous day. A crowd of well over 300 people, including many ICC attendees, joined IA for an evening of inspiration, conversation, and Internet of Things (IoT) innovation with one of the leading minds in the industry.
